La cerimonia di premiazione e degli Emmy Awards 2020 si è conclusa da poco. Come avevamo annunciato, quest’anno lo spettacolo, condotto da Jimmy Kimmel, si è tenuto in streaming a causa delle restrizioni imposte dalla situazione sanitaria.
Le tre serie che hanno dominato questa 72ma edizione degli Emmy Awards 2020 sono Schitt’s Creek, prima serie ad aggiudicarsi tutti premi comici principali, tra cui Miglior attore a Eugene Levy, Daniel Levy, Catherine O’Hara ed Annie Murphy. Poi, Watchmen che ha segnato la prima volta che l’adattamento di un fumetto conquista un primo premio. Infine Succession, che ha dominato la categoria delle serie drammatiche.
